Still Having Problems!

I know things have been sparse here lately, then there's a sudden run of a dozen posts in one day, and I'm trying - really I am! But there just isn't much I can do about these computers. Not only am I limited by money, there's also the matter of deadlines by which I have to get out sponsors' posts so that I can be paid for them (otherwise I simply lose the opportunity - I can't just post them later), then there's the matter of distance - I live in a very small town with very limited sources for computer parts - the nearest real "town" is half an hour away and the only real outlets there are a Wal-Mart and a Radio Shack and I doubt that Radio Shack will have anything this one doesn't (and I already checked the Wal-Mart and they had nothing).

Further, everything around here closes at 3:00 PM! Except on Wednesday, when everything closes at noon!

So I'm in the unique position of having stayed up late into the night to work on these computers, then crawling out of bed around 10:30-11:00 or so (really not bad for staying up until nearly 5 AM), getting into these things, then suddenly looking up and noticing that it's already 2:30! Then I'm running around like a chicken with my head cut off to try and get things done.

And it's obvious the locals seem to think I'm on something. They don't even try to hide it. Sadly, with my neck and all, I actually am, but that has nothing to do with my manic state. Or less than it normally would, anyway. Just to give you an idea of how scatterbrained this is all making me - how nervous and upset I am - I went all the way into town yesterday (the little "town," not the "big" one 40 miles away) to get lemon juice so I could make this chicken I bought that is about to go bad because I was going to make it like 3 days ago and kept forgetting until it was too late to go get lemon juice, and I left my little list at home (nothing unusual about that), so after deciding to grab milk, I got the Cokes I meant to get, got something else, paid for everything, walked out, got halfway down the road, and realized I didn't get the lemon juice. I realize I might have done that anyway, but that's just how crazy I've been.

Then you get frustrated and you're speeding around, wild-eyed, muttering to yourself. I mean hell, I'd think I was on something!

Anyway, I'm just so over it right now; there's nothing I can do until there's something I can do, and I apologize to everyone.
