Phoenix Rising?

We got this cryptic press release Friday. The picture is all that was included, along with a blurb that said only, "Stay tuned..."

I have some idea that this could have to do with the Secret Invasion, but since there has been so much going on with the X-folk in their own titles, who's to say?

Great pic, though. I don't know who the artist is, but they definitely caught that John Byrne quality reminiscent of the original Phoenix storyline. We'll see where it goes.

In further Marvel news, Captain Marvel #3 sold-out before it hit stores. Remember, this means it sold-out at the distribution level, not the retailer level, so copies may still be available at stores.

Captain America #34 also sold-out and will return with a "director's cut" reprint. All three issues of The Twelve have sold-out at the distribution level, so far!
