Just stopping by to gab. I've been spending more time in IM than usual lately, and I've been ignoring you guys and I'm sorry.
Truth be told, there hasn't been a whole lot to report in the way of comics. All of entertainment has been kinda quiet so far this week. I have also been taking it easy because of the wrist. It looks like there's some sort of blister-thing trying to form down at the base of the incision and I'm of a mind it's due to the pressure from the mousepad, so I'm trying to go easy on everything.
Like I said the other day, I got the new CBG, but I haven't even opened it yet; it's laying on the coffeetable where I set it when I brought it in. I'll get into it today. I should be up for a while, I'm thinking: I woke up at around 3am this morning and watched All That Jazz, then went back to sleep around 8am and woke up at around 1:00pm, so I should be set for sleep. My days and nights got turned-around after the surgery, so I guess it's my body's way of catching-up - or just the season. I'm not fighting it.
I had a sudden, unstoppable Charmed craving this afternoon. I was watching some movie when I noticed the time and literally had to change the channel! Luckily, they were two good episodes. I won't know if my Charmed thirst is quenched or not until tomorrow. I started to watch Angel this morning, too!
SHIT! TNT is keeping us awake and forcing us to watch their network in a subliminal advertising campaign for the new season of The Closer and Saving Grace!
Wha-at? It's a theory.
I signed-up for the Hawkman series and subscribed to Uncanny X-Men. I really need some quality entertainment, and even though I have been sorely disappointed by just about everything I've taken a chance on recently, the need outweighs the trepidation - at least for a few issues. I'll let you know how (if) things pan-out. Still waiting on the next issue of Nexus.
Like I said, I'll be around, but there isn't much to report, so... for whatever it's worth.
Oh! I do have a review to get out to you (dunno if it's still advance or not), so I will do that later on.
