Another Night/Day

Yep... I fell asleep around 11:30 and woke up at Midnight. Fell asleep after a few minutes and was back up around 1:30. Finally, at 3:12am, I got up.

At least there's [adult swim], you know?

I treated the bed, carpets, and kittens for fleas, but I'm still picking them off me. At least the cats aren't constantly scratching. Hopefully, this will make little Nyrgle more comfortable and he will finally fatten-up a bit. I also cleaned their nasty ears, as best as I could - you really need two people for that job!

I got my fine paid, but that's no guarantee I'm not still going back to jail for some other made-up reason. I have, however, started working in a different direction in that regard, though I can't speak about it right now.

I have to make time to do some technical management here at some point, but I have no idea when it will happen. Like everything else in my life, knowing what I need to do and actually finding the time in which to do it are completely different things. Like getting a social life: needs to happen, hasn't yet, and I don't see it in my immediate future. I know I have been blathering a lot lately, but I have been sick and lonely, and it's my blog! Still, I have so much stuff to get out to you - it's all backed-up by now and it's overwhelming me.

Got a ton of things done around the house yesterday, though. Somehow. It's a good thing, but slightly depressing; I mean, I managed to do more in one day than I have in the previous month and I am sick. Nowhere near as ill as I was, but still downing the medicine. I have no idea how this happened, other than that I just finally got sick and tired enough to do it.

So, let's get this day underway, cuz the very moment I feel sleepy, I'm hitting the proverbial hay...

Try laying Borax (detergent) down. All the carpets have to be done at once. Try to keep pets off the carpet for the couple hours it needs to stay down. Then vacuum up.

I've tried the commercial flea powders, and they've never worked for me. However, Borax has never failed and it's cheap. :)
