Breaking news on the Watchmen front (well, it "broke" the other day, but this is The Rundown - not The Breakdown):
A new trailer premiered on the Spike TV Scream Awards, which you can find here. If you read through the comments, you come to a link to this story, which notes that the ending of the movie may be different from that of the graphic novel. For those unfamiliar with the story, be careful - SPOILERS abound within the comments.
Watchmen became the best-selling graphic novel of 2007 largely on the strength of the news that it was finally being made into a movie.
Gamers might also be interested in this piece on the creation of the Watchmen RPG from the 1980s (Mayfair). I have the promotional poster hanging in the studio (I don't recall where I picked it up, but most likely at a con).
