Stephen Colbert Truly Spaced-Out

Comedian, Stephen Colbert, urged viewers to vote for a room of the space station to be named after him. They complied with nearly 300,000 votes - more than enough to win the NASA-sponsored contest! However, NASA reserves the right to name the room whatever it wants, but a spokesperson told AP the names which received the highest votes would get "the most consideration." Also among the possible names was Serenity, which Firefly fans will know well. All told, there over 1 million votes.

If Stephen Colbert's name is used, the name of the room will actually be "Colbert." Which, when you think about it, doesn't sound so bad. I mean, it's just a room, after all.
