On TerrorVision - A Review

I greatly appreciate satire, especially in movies. I am also aware that TerrorVision is a satire of the B movie. But there is an uncanny valley in deliberate B movies, up to which the whole thing is camp and after which the whole thing is just hokey crap. TerrorVision is of the latter.

Everyone involved in this movie broke the knob off the dial and TerrorVision plunges straight over the cliff of that uncanny valley into something nigh unwatchable. Luckily, it does so early, so you'll be able to tell whether or not this is your kind of movie before you've invested too much time in it.

There is a lot of meta comedy, a lot of downright stupid "comedy," cheesy dialogue, bad acting, and goofy special effects, but there is no real plot, story, or character to the whole flick. It does away with the characters pretty quickly, then just sort of ends.

TerrorVision is no fun at all, just unbearable.
