Don't Forget Studio 60 Tonight!

It's just hours away! Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip most likely will not come back. The network has already officially canceled the series, but they are showing the last 6 episodes in the Thursday night timeslot in which it was originally scheduled. Instead, they had it running opposite Monday night powerhouse, CSI: Miami, where it fared none too well.

There is always the slightest chance - however slim - that if this 6-episode run does well enough, and we can generate enough new interest in the program, NBC will keep it on the schedule as a possible mid-season replacement, if not outright reverse their decision to cancel! Yes, it's a longshot, but the network has taken some pretty heavy hits across the Blogosphere and on the message boards since they made the cancellation, so there's always hope.

Let's just hope these final episodes are better than the first few and that reruns of Grey's Anatomy lead some new blood to the show. I hate 11th-hour "hope-against-hope and keep your fingers crossed" stuff like this, but I promise you, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip is worth it.
