Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins has been slated for a May 22nd, 2009 release, as per the trades.
This latest installment in the ongoing series will start a new trilogy "arc," picking up after the last installment. T4 stars Christian Bale as the adult John Connor, and the story will be set in the time of his rebellion against Skynet.
Perhaps the best news here is that the movie will be directed by none other than McG, executive producer of the best show on TV, Supernatural (not to mention another great one, Chuck, which can be seen Friday nights on Sci-Fi Channel and should be returning to NBC for a second season).
Terminator Salvation starts filming May of this year.
