How the US Forces Will Face the Zombies

Well, yet another boring day, I'm afraid. Technically, with this badass cold, I should be taking the entire day off and resting, but I - like most people - just don't function that way. Even though I am filled with OTC cold and flu medicine and drowsier than a drunken blonde at 4am, I cannot sleep. Lying around on the couch for hours on-end is not my idea of relaxation; I get frustrated because I can't sleep and that makes me irritable and then I get restless and that's when I blog.

Lucky you... kinda.

This is one of those things that is borderline anything, but since I mentioned zombies in the True Blood review, I thought it fit better here than over to The OddBlog. True, zombies - or the basic concept - were first mentioned in The Holy Bible ('the dead shall walk the Earth'), but the pop-culture zombie is so far removed from that as to be negligible. At the very least, this whole discourse came about directly from the pop-culture zombie and has absolutely nothing to do with Biblical allusions or references, so it seemed to work better here.

This is an article about how the US military forces would face a zombie infestation that I thought you might enjoy.

Like I say, there are several stories that are borderline and if nothing else comes through the rest of the afternoon, I may break down and bring them to you, but there have been no PRs today! Not one! Maybe it's due to The Stand midnight opening last night - I don't know - but whatever the reason, there just isn't that much to report. And since I am sick and need to be resting, I really am trying not to push it.
