While no writer is yet on-board, Hollow-wood is looking to remake the cult Carpenter classic, They Live. The original - which, despite its faults, still stands the test of time - starred professional rassler, Rowdy Roddy Piper (in a surprisingly effective performance), as a drifter who stumbles upon an alien invasion and seeks to overthrow it. One of the truest Dark Conspiracy films ever made and one which inspired the game - in particular, the use of Serengeti sunglasses by Minion Hunters (they were Ray Bans in They Live, but it was the 80s).
They Live is a cult classic for a reason, but a decent remake could be done. For God's sake though, CGI is not necessary for any scene or element in this film!
