Studio 407 presents Shadow Chronicles, a bloodcurdling collection of all-new horror tales! A bloodthirsty vampire plagues 18th Century Europe - and a modern-day movie theater. In the farthest reaches of space, the crew of a research vessel is absconded by the military for a mission to a desolate planet of pure terror. And a small town is beset, both by demons and the elite paramilitary squad tasked with destroying them - but which force is scarier? Find out in Shadow Chronicles, Studio 407's first ever anthology book, which affords readers a sneak peek at their most terrifying new comics!
Shadow Chronicles is available now, as it should be on shelves today. I got the preview a few months back and really dug into it. While the interior art is capable, the work on The Night Projectionist is a bit stiff, but it loosens up a few pages in - unfortunately, that's where the preview ends!
Studio 407 has quickly become my new favorite independent publisher for good reason, and be assured you are going to hear a lot more both about, and from, them - and not just here! But I do hope to have some really good news for you concerning them shortly!
At $3.99 and 32 pages, Shadow Chronicles is a must-see and while I have only seen as much of it as you can by following the link above, seeing as how just about every book they've released has quickly secured a movie deal, it's a pretty safe bet for the money. Especially when you're paying the same price for 10 more pages!
