Actor, Ewan McGregor, told fans not to expect a sequel to the now classic Trainspotting. Last November, reports surfaced that the original cast had already signed-on but McGregor was stalling. According to this latest update, McGregor explains that the original Trainspotting was such a boon to English cinema that he hates to tarnish it with a sequel, even a good one. Director, Danny Boyle, apparently said the sequel would be a go once the original actors had aged a little more.
McGregor said the sequel, based on Irvine Welsh's sequel to the original book, Porno, was set 10 years after the first film took place. He also said he has never received a script.
