Joss Whedon has apparently teamed with noted documentarian, Morgan Spurlock, to develop a documentary featuring a handful of Comic-Con 'superfans' - what we used to call... "con-goer." Whedon wants to film the chosen participants for the three months leading-up to the event, then follow them around Comic-Con itself.
Gaming and conventioneers have become the popular focus of many recent films, mostly "mockumentaries," which have received mixed reviews. Whedon is a particularly popular feature at the annual Comic-Con, and is thus in a particularly unique position to make this film.
