Season's End Painting Contest

To celebrate the completion of the graphic novel SEASON'S END, an original 16x20 painting is being given away to one lucky BROKEN FRONTIER reader.

This beautiful painting features the two most prominent characters, the powerful priest Mimdal and the fierce warrior Dunlari, in the horror/fantasy hardback book.

If you enjoy unique and original stories, be sure to support it while you can!

To be entered in the drawing all we ask of you is to back SEASON'S END on KICKSTARTER.COM for $1.00 or more. (Once you've pledged, please send us an email on KICKSTARTER that just states you saw this contest on BROKEN FRONTIER.)

FANTASY and HORROR get slammed together and brought to life through amazing paintings in SEASON'S END. Jason Pell, the creator of highly acclaimed series' ZOMBIE HIGHWAY and WOODY AND THE NOBLE, teams up with talented artist BLAKE WHEELER to develop a non-traditional graphic novel unlike anything currently on the market. From hand drawn "growing" borders, sketches, and paintings done on actual canvas, artist Blake Wheeler put his unique style on everything making a very distinct book with an endless amount of detail. The 120 page graphic novel took nearly two years to complete and the creators spent that time crafting something they feel is nothing less than extraordinary.

The creative duo have taken their book to Kickstarter and are offering one-of-a-kind art from the actual book as rewards for backers. Please be sure to check it out!

"The world has grown dark and magic has become tainted and dangerous. A young man, Mimdal, is the last living priest that can perform the miracles of old. He and his guardian, the soldier Adrielle, are enlisted to find out why the gods have fallen silent. Along with the brutish Dunlari and his savage captive, Grib, the dark wiard Falhern, and Lidderly, the secretive bard, they seek the terrible truth.

The new gods have come."
