- An attorney appeared in court yesterday on Britney Spears' behalf to contest her father's role as conservator of her estate. However, a medical professional testified that Britney was incapable of making rational, intelligent decisions regarding her welfare on her own. The conservatorship was extended to February 14th. Both of Britney's parents visited her yesterday, but the judge upheld a ruling barring manager, Sam Lutfi, from having any contact with her.
- Mere days after the Spice Girls announced they are canceling their world tour, Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) revealed she is leaving the group. The "band" cited family pressures and personal obligations as the reasons for canceling the final leg of their tour, but those on the outside looking in note lackadaisical ticket sales.
- Paris Hilton apparently tried to dance onstage at a 50 Cent concert, but was told to "Get the [eff] off the stage" by the "artist." Paparazzi snapped photos of a heartbroken Paris crying after she done got dissed.
- Hannah Montana, aka Billy Ray Cyrus' daughter, aka The Achey-Breaky Tweenster, aka the new Britney Spears, shocked everyone with her 3D concert flick, Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert. Not only did it conquer the box office, it set a new record for biggest take on Superbowl weekend. Chelsea Handler brought up a very good point about this movie: "Why is it in 3D?"
- Pamela Anderson will be "dancing" at the infamous Le Crazy Horse cabaret club in Paris on Valentines Day. The club is also known as The Temple of Nudity. No one is sure if Pammy will Get Naked (that's a Tommy Lee song, but I can't find a good link to it - they all go to the infamous porn video the couple made). After all, she's pregnant. And, like, 60-something.
