One of the (many) bad things about where I live is no NPR. I mean, NPR is basically available nationwide, but this county is literally a third-world country within this nation. For no real reason I can fathom Saturday, I had a sudden need for some talk radio - I didn't just want to hear it, I really needed to hear some - and NPR was the first thing that sprung to mind.
For some reason (unless I'm missing it), live broadcasts are not available, though you can listen to some past shows. You can listen to Prairie Home Companion (in full or select acts) on its website. But if you do a little digging, you come across some really interesting stuff.
Take this little for-instance: a 1990 interview with Batman creator, Bob Kane. Follow some of the provided links at the bottom for even more goodies, including interviews with Frank Miller, Robert Rodriguez, and much more!
