Son was arrested for felony vandalism in May of this year and plead guilty. He was forced to give a sample of his DNA. When police ran it, they allege it matched semen linked to a 1990 incident in which a woman was pistol-whipped, blindfolded, raped, and released naked.
The actor has been charged with five felony counts of rape, two felony counts of forcible sodomy, two felony counts of sodomy in concert by force, seven felony counts of forcible oral copulation, and one felony count of sexual penetration by foreign object by force.
If convicted, Joe Son faces a life sentence.
