Ghostbusters

Now what kind of Americana site would we be without a little Ghostbusters coverage?

That's right: the Ghostbusters are back for another sequel and pretty much everyone over 30 is getting a little giddy as the time draws nigh. Granted, the first sequel was... well, the only thing I remember from it was the train scene. That and how awful it was. Some think the newest installment may be just as bad (or do they?), but the screenplay is underway and merchandising and interviews have been turning-up online left and right.

Bill Murray said he would like to see a female Ghostbuster - preferably a hottie - and I suppose I can get onboard with that. In fact, Murray may well have been the spark which lit this fire, as he mentioned how much fun he had recording his voice for the new video game. Whether or not Murray gets his way, we are still waiting to see who all will actually be involved.

In the meantime, Tokyopop has answered the call for all us comics fans.
