Britney Spears has been photographed in Costa Rica with her agent, Jason Trawick, sans Daddy Conservator.
Whatever really happened with that whole deal anyway? I know Daddy Spears was omnipresent following her hardships and loss of custody, but since she's been on TV a couple times and they've been back to court once or twice, everything seems to have died back down. Supposedly, her dad retains his conservatorship over the former pop princess, but nothing much has been heard from the camp recently. Britney has been allowed to see her kids a few times, but only under supervision.
The whole thing got really confusing there at the end, with lawyers for Britney demanding she be emancipated and judges saying the lawyers had no right to defend her because she was not fit to hire them, then someone sued for something, then Daddy Spears retained control, then Sam Lutfi was ousted... I think a lot of people just gave up on following the circus, especially since all the news was so back-and-forth and downright confusing.
Brit-Brit and her agent are vacationing at Mel Gibson's pad.
